The Gbese chief is in hot waters. His subjects want him to abdicate his stool within seven days because he promised to do so if President John Mahama loses the election.
The Chiefs are angry with the Gbese Chief Nii Ayibonte over the pre-election claims. Nii Ayibonte told his subjects before the election that he had no doubt Mahama would win the election based on the numerous infrastructural projects.
However, the outcome of the polls went against his wish.
