President Akufo-Addo’s planned address to the nation at 3pm today, Monday January 9 has been deferred to Tuesday.

No reason was given for the change of date.

It is unclear what the President will be saying in his national address, which comes four days after his investiture, but Starrfmonline.com sources say the President may be giving his major policy outlines.

There are also speculations that Mr. Akufo-Addo will be  announcing other officials  of his government in the address.

Meanwhile, the President on Monday inspected and supervised the change of Guard at a short ceremony at the forecourt of the Golden Jubilee House to usher in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration led by him.

Akufo-Addo on Saturday took the oath of office following his resounding electoral success in last month’s presidential polls—defeating former president John Mahama who contested on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
