President John Dramani Mahama’s tenure as leader of Ghana has ended.

Veteran opposition leader Nana Akufo-Addo is taking over for the next four years with an overwhelming majority in Parliament. He becomes the fifth president under the Fourth Republic.

About 11 heads of state will be attending the swearing in ceremony alongside 6000 expected crowd at the Black Star Square.
