Six kindergarten pupils of the Methodist Primary and JHS at Breman Jamra in the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa district of the Central region have died after the school building they were studying in caved in.

 

Narrating the incident to Starr News, Central regional correspondent Kwaku Baah-Acheamfour said the incident happened on Tuesday morning.

According to him, part of the dilapidated school building was pulled down leaving just a part that housed the kindergarten pupils and this led to the incident which claimed four lives on the spot.

Two others died at the Our Lady of Grace Hospital where the injured were rushed for medical attention.

Three other children who survived the accident are said to be in critical condition and are receiving treatment at the hospital.
