Ghana’s 60th anniversary celebration must be “modest” but at the same time “elegant considering the financial circumstances facing the country”, according to President Akufo-Addo.

The West African country will be celebrating its 60th anniversary on March 6, 2017.

Speaking at the inauguration of the Planning Committee of the 60th Anniversary, President Akufo-Addo charged them to put together a comprehensive programme for the event which is some seven weeks away.
