Crystal Palace have completed the signing of Leicester City and Ghana’s versatile man Jeffrey Schlupp on a four-and-half year deal for an undisclosed fee, the club  announced on its official site.

The 24-year-old will be available to play in the Premier League game against West Ham at the London Stadium on Saturday.

Schlupp has played 150 matches for Leicester including 24 appearances in their Premier League title winning campaign last season and has also played 12 times for the  Black Stars.

And manager Sam Allardyce has spoken highly about the quality of the versatile man.

Sam Allardyce said: ‘I am delighted we have been able to secure Jeffrey’s services, he is a player I have admired for some time and is a talented and athletic player.  He will bring strength and experience to the defense and will be a major asset for the club having just turned 24 years old”.

He was however dropped from Ghana’s squad for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations to enable him sort out his club future.
