The Chief Executive Officer of EIB Network, Nathan Kwabena Anokye Adisi, aka Bola Ray, has donated GH¢ 40,000 to the management and children of the SOS Children’s Village in Tema.

The donation formed part of an annual donation exercise by Bola Ray and his family as well as close associates, meant to put smiles on the faces of the less-privileged.

Bola Ray’s donation also comes ahead of his 40th birthday, March 1. The former Drive Time host spent the afternoon interacting with residents of the facility.

He was supported by some friends and working colleagues including Mr. and Mrs. Bannerman-Quist (Leeford), Loretta Aryeetey, Ben Adu Owusu, CEO of Express Capital, Robert Coleman of Zoomlion, and Nana Adwoa Anterkyi of Ecobank among others.

SOS caters for over 60,000 children in 125 countries around the world. The project gives children a home, an education and a future.

In 2015 he supported them with non perishable food items, learning materials, clothing and a 4×4 for the village.

In 2016, he added to the quantity of non perishable items, toys, learning aides and gently used clothing. This year he took up the mantle of adopting a house which was later named the “Empire Foundation/Bola Ray House.”

To mark his 40th birthday, he cut cake with the kids and created a fun fair on the SOS grounds with bouncy castles, Sandpit, towels climber, cotton candy, popcorn and face painting. The visit by the rain couldn’t stop the fun as performances by Mz Bee, Okyeame Kwame and Rough N Smooth delighted the kids.
