The Majority in Parliament are today expected to use their numbers to push through minister-designate for Gender and Social protection Otiko Afisa Djaba, whose approval is being resisted by the minority.
The minority argues the conduct and utterances of the nominee is unfitting of a minister of state.
They insist she must apologise for her utterances against former President John Mahama during the electioneering.
However, Starr News understands the majority are bent on approving her nomination despite the claims by the minority.
Meanwhile, Miss Otiko has already attended and addressed a UN summit on behalf of the country.
