A former deputy Communications director of the New Patriotic Party has been appointed as the Deputy Executive Secretary of the Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC) by President Akufo-Addo.
A letter of appointment dated 2 March 2017 read: “I am pleased to inform you that the president has appointed you the Deputy Executive Secretary of the Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC)”.
The president further charged Ms Akoto to discharge her duties with the “great sense of professionalism”.
“Kindly indicate your acceptance or otherwise of this appointment,” the letter added.
