The trial of the 13 members of the vigilante group, Delta Force, has been adjourned to May 18,2017.

The KMA Circuit court judge Mary Nsenkyire adjourned the case Thursday after the prosecutor ACP Okyere Darko pleaded for more time to complete his investigations into the case.

Lawyer for the accused persons, Matthew Appiah, argued that the Police had no basis to arrest his clients.

The 13 suspects are facing trial for allegedly attacking the Ashanti Regional Security Coordinator Mr. George Adjei.

They claimed they were not consulted before the President appointed Mr. Adjei to the position.

Meanwhile, eight other members of the group who invaded the courtroom  and set the 13 suspects free while proceeding was underway , were granted bail last week.
