Dr. Kwabena Duffuor II is taking over from Felix Nyarko-Pong as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of uniBank.

His appointment is subject to the approval of the Central Bank and takes effect June 1, 2017.

Dr. Duffuor until his new appointment served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the multiple award-winning indigenous bank – a position he has held since June 2013.

He holds a PhD in Finance, an Msc Banking and International Finance from Cass Business School, City of London, UK, and a degree in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Southampton.

He has over nine years banking experience both locally and internationally. He worked with Ghana International Bank Plc, uniBank (Ghana) Ltd and Standard Chartered Bank in various departments including, Retail Banking, Treasury Operations and Credit Risk Management.

uniBank is expected to issue an official communication about the development this week.
