Ghanaian children have joined the clarion call for parents to open up to them when it comes to sex education.

According to them, their parents shy away from discussing sex with them, leaving them with no option than to resort to the internet or teachers for information.

The children were speaking on the Morning Show with Francis Abban as part of a series to demystify the myth surrounding sex education.

The children selected from Crown Prince Academy, the Lutheran School and Happy Kids argued they need more education in sex, but their parents are not forthcoming with information. They said the little they know about sex were acquired from either teachers or friends.

The eloquent teenagers want sex education to be prioritized in all sectors of the Ghanaian society beginning with a dedicated subject in their schools.
