The deputy Sports Minister Pius Hadzide has been full of praise for the Local Black Stars after recording a 2-1 win over the Local Hawks of Togo.
The Ghanaians displayed a five-star performance at the Stade de Kegue, Saturday in an international friendly.
“It’s a very impressive performance from the team and I believe the team has great potential. I am impressed with their preparations so far for the WAFU Championship and the CHAN qualifiers and I encouraged the technical team to continue their good job,” Hadzide told Starr Sports.
“I am excited with the potential the team has and I believe if the other players join from their clubs, the team will be stronger,” he added.
Hadzide later promised coach Maxwell Konadu and his men of government’s total commitment towards the success of the Black Stars Team B and Ghana sports in general.
The Black Stars Team B will be travelling to Burkina Faso on August 7 to kick start their CHAN qualifiers against the Local Stallions.
