The Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture has outdoored its Tourism Ambassadors.

The event which took place at Tamale in the Northern region on Wednesday, September 27 marked World tourism Day.

A total of 50 personalities were selected including Okyeame Kwame, Reggie & Bolie, Daddy Lumba, Sarkodie, Fuse ODG, Dada KD, Nana Kwame Ampadu.

Sector minister, Catherine Afeku and her deputy, Dr Ziblim Barri Iddi gave the ambassadors a smock each.

The significance is to show the world that these ambassadors Wear Ghana everywhere they are and is a gesture to also remind them of their responsibility to continuously make Ghana proud.

The unveiling of these personalities follows the launch of the “See Ghana, Eat Ghana, Wear Ghana and Feel Ghana” campaign a few months ago, to promote tourism, arts and culture for national development.
