At least one person has been injured in a multiple car accident on the Kawokudi stretch of the Obasanjo street in Accra.
According to an eyewitness, the accident occurred when a driver of a truck lost control after a brake failure and rammed into other cars on the traffic-prone lane.
The truck eventually rammed into a nearby tree after mangling about 9 other vehicles in its way.
Reports say it took a combined team of military and Nadmo officials about 30 minutes to evacuate the driver of the truck, who is currently receiving treatment at the 37 military hospital.
