There is relief for frustrated traders who had been stranded at Yeji for days due to the lack of a ferry to transport them to the Northern part of the country.

The Pru district in the Brong Ahafo region has secured two additional ferries to transport them across the White Volta to their destinations.

There was chaos and frustration for many of these travelers following the closure of Yapei and Buipe bridges for repair works.

The situation was compounded by the lack of adequate ferry to transport them.

There were no ferries at the station due to the ongoing civil works on the bridges.

Some days ago, the Yapei bridge, which is the main link between the northern and southern parts of Ghana, underwent civil repairs, compelling travelers to use other routes.
