MP for Gomoa East in the Central Region, Hon. Kojo Asemanyi on Sunday donated football balls to some footballers at Kakraba a suburb in his Constituency.

The young Legislature took the opportunity to join ex-footballers in his constituency to exhibit his football skills and after made a donation of footballs and other equipment which will be delivered in the coming days.

According to Asemanyi he believes his ambition to empower the youth of his constituency is on course, when he addressed the footballers after the game.

“I am here today to know your problems since I am young and understand your plights. All those with job employment issues should call me every time since my doors are open 24/7,” Asemanyi told Starr Sports

“Whenever any of you call and I don’t respond kindly send me text messages. The deplorable state of your playing field is my major concern and I have already contacted Wembley Sports Construction Company Limited for the artificial turf project to start any time soon so just hope for the best in the coming days,” he added.

Hon. Kojo Asemanyi earlier had donated a GHC 70,000K well equipped Ambulance to  the St. Gregory Health Hospital at Gomoa Buduburam and also gave out  over 3000 mathematical sets to all BECE candidates in the constituency  ahead of their examinations which starts June 4-9.
