The Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) will hold an emergency meeting today, June 11, 2018 to look at recent issues in Ghana Football.
After the showing of investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ expose’ on corruption in Ghana football leading to the resignation of Kwesi Nyantakyi as FA president, the Association wants to fashion out a roadmap.
According to the chairman of GHALCA, Kudjo Fianoo all 48 Division One sides and 16 premier league teams will converge at the secretariat of GHALCA at the Accra Sports Stadium to deliberate about the scandal that has hit the Football fraternity.
“It was on Friday that GHALCA issued a communiqué stating it wants to meet the representatives of all the football clubs, that is 48 division one sides and the 16 premier league clubs and other stakeholders for an emergency meeting today,” Kudjo Fianoo told Starr Sports.
The Association is highly expected to discuss the suspension of all the local leagues.
