Enactus KNUST has emerged the winner of the 2018 Enactus Ghana National Competition.

This means they have retained the trophy from last year.

Teams form Catholic University College, University for Development Studies and University of Ghana following in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place respectively

The team won the price after presenting an innovative project that transformed plastic and crop waste into charcoal o produce energy.

The team will advance to the 2018 Enactus World Cup event which will take place at the Silicon Valley, California, USA from October 9-11.

They have promised to work on their innovation to ensure they win the world championship after the failed last year.

The event brought together over 350 participants made up of academic leaders, business executives and students across the country.

Competing teams were: Catholic University College, University of Ghana,
University for Development Studies, Navrongo, University of Professional Studies, University of Mines and Technology, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ho Technical University.
