Popular Ghanaian rapper M.anifest has described Sarkodie’s diss song to the self-acclaimed dancehall king Shatta Wale as very interesting.

In the over 3 minutes rap song, Sarkodie advised the Shatta Movement boss to move on from his “foolish” ways.

Shatta Wale has been at the centre of a series of controversies ahead of the launch of his Reign album this Saturday.

The dancehall artiste has engaged himself in numerous verbal combat with fellow artists -with the latest being Kwaw Kesse, an act seen by some as a promotional means of getting the media to talk about him.

In the diss song, Sarkodie rapped “Your brand [is not] strong enough, If it is strong then keep quiet. You will soon [leave]…You showed d***, one day you will show buttocks. The last thing [that I] want is attention,” he rapped.

Sarkodie questioned the dancehall artiste’s claim to wealth and asked him to stop wearing cheap jewellery.

M.anifest a one-time adversary of Sarkodie speaking on the Morning Starr Thursday, told host Francis Abban that he finds the beef between the two heavyweights very interesting and looks forward to the reply by Shatta Wale.

According to the Someway Bi singer, Sarkodie must be given credit for what he has been able to achieve in the music industry but added that Ghanaians must judge as who emerges victor in the current lyrical war.

“Yes you have to give him credit for what he [Sarkodie] has been able to achieve over the time…so you give him kudos,” the ‘Nowhere Cool’ hitmaker told Francis Abban Thursday.
