The Black Maidens  of Ghana are expected to have a training tour in the United States before the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.

Ghana will be making an appearance at this year’s competition which begins on November 13 to December 1.

The Black Maidens have been camping at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence where they have been involved in some low profile friendly matches.

According to sources within management the team will embark on a training tour in USA before leaving for Uruguay.

Coach Evans Adotey’s side are drawn in group A together with host Uruguay, New Zealand and Finland.

Ghana’s best outcome at the World Cup have been a third place finish in 2012.
