Kotoko Coach Charles Kobla Akonnor says is satisfied with the team’s performance despite their exit from the CAF Confederation Cup competition.

Kotoko’s journey in the competition came to an end after losing 2-1 away at ZESCO United in the final Group match.

The Ghanaian FA Cup Champions needed victory to make it out of the Group.

Despite blaming the team’s exit to little mistakes committed, the former Ashanti Gold Coach is pleased with the output of the players.

“The goals we conceded since we started this campaign has been a major problem and it has affected us. Honestly, we’ve lost bitterly but I must say I’m proud of the boys.”

“Today is the end of the journey and hopefully we’ll learn from this campaign and comeback stronger.”

The Porcupine Warriors finished third in the Group behind Al Hilal and Nkana FC.
