The National Identification Authority (NIA) will today begin the mass registration of Ghanaians for the Ghana Card.

The registration will be done on regional basis beginning from the Greater Accra region.

It will be done between 8am and 5pm daily.

The Card will replace many of the current proof of identity required by many state organisations and also be recognised by the ECOWAS.

Below is the plan of action for the exercise and centres where you can register

Ga South – Bortianor, Ngleshie, Amanfro, Weija, Gbawe, Domeabra/Obom

Ga Central – Anyaa, Sowutuom

Ga West – Trobu, Amasaman

Okaikoi – South, Central and North

Ablekuma – South, Central, West and North

Odododiodio – Ashiedu Keteke
