Work has begun on the Dansoman Polyclinic maternity at Kit Kat. The project being undertaken by the Member of Parliament for the area, Ursula Owusu Ekuful is estimated at GH¢500.000.00.

It is expected to be completed in six months.

“I am looking forward to work on this structure because it will relieve the congestion in the Dansoman polyclinic immensely.” Mrs Owusu Ekuful who is also the Communications Minister said  at the sod cutting ceremony for the project months earlier.

“It’s a very congested place. Pregnant women go there for antenatal services, but when it’s time for delivery they have to go somewhere else because they don’t have space or the facilities to take them through delivery and postnatal services. It truncates their healthcare provision,” she added.
