MP for Gomoa East in the Central Region, Hon. Kojo Asemanyi, has presented mathematical sets to over 3,500 candidates in his constituency expected to sit for the Basic Education Certificate Examinations (BECE) this year.

This gesture has been a annual exercise to support BECE candidates in his constituency

The vibrant legislator in a message said this initiative by his government every year has really yielded excellent results in the constituency with some candidates recording distinctions.

“Education has been a key priority of the Nana Akuffo Addo led government and these mathematical sets are vital tools for the examinations. I therefore wish all of you well in the coming examination and challenge you to pass and enjoy government’s unprecedented free SHS package,” he added.

The following schools were all beneficiaries and the number of maths set given; Kakraba Zion A-91,Kakraba Zion B-105, Kakraba JHS-63,Nyanyano JHS A&B-126, Nyanyano JHS C-56, Buduburam JHS A, B&C, 96, 122 & 65 these also included private schools in Dasum, Odumasi, Odembo, Tekyiam, Okyereko, Potsin, Dominase, Panfokrom, Buduatta, Dabyin, Akramang, Kweikrom, Fetteh and Ojobi.

Hon. Asemanyi also expressed his gratitude to all the Education Directors for their support in developing the constituency.
