Coach Kwesi Appiah has shaken up Ghana’s starting lineup for Saturday’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations second Group F match against Cameroon at Ismailia Stadium.

Three changes have been made from the team which started the 2-2 draw with Benin last Tuesday.

First-choice goalkeeper Richard Ofori retains his place in goal.

In defence Baba Rahman and Jonathan Mensah make their first starts as left-back and centre-back respectively while Andy Yiadom maintains his place on the right likewise Kassim Adams Nuhu who will now partner Mensah.

This means Lumor Agbenyeu has been sent to the bench while John Boye is not available for selection due to his red card from the first match.

Inter Milan star Kwadwo Asamoah has also been introduced in midfield replacing injured winger Thomas Agyepong.

Mubarak Wakaso continues his defensive midfield duties against the Indomitable Lions and would have Kwadwo Asamoah and Thomas Partey sitting just in front of him in what appears a 4-3-3 system adopted by coach Appiah.

Skipper Andre Ayew starts after shaking off a knock from the opening game and is expected to play on the flanks with Christian Atsu.

Jordan Ayew, who scored against Benin, will lead the front line.

Match kicks off at 17:00 GMT.
