A 21-year-old electrician has allegedly defiled two cousins ages 15 and 12 years in turns and indecently assaulted another 9-year-old.

The incident happened at Tinkong a farming community in the Akuapem North Municipality of the Eastern region.

The suspect – Victor Adjei Lomotey has, however, been arrested by the Police and remanded by a Koforidua Circuit Court to reappear on July 17, 2019. He is facing charges of defilement and indecent assault.

The Prosecutor Inspector Owusu Ababio told the Court that, the two cousins were escorting their 9-year-old female friend to bath at her house but met the accused person-Victor Adjei Lomotey, who knows one of the Victims therefore took advantage to lure them to the Assemblies of God School premises, took the 15-year-old to a classroom and fondled her breasts.

The accused again took the victims to Tinkong through the Mangoase road and upon reaching a section of the road they saw an oncoming motorbike. The accused the pulled the 9-year-old victim into the bush ostensibly to hide from the motorbike rider and took advantage to indecently assault her by pulling his penis for the victim to suck but she refused.

He then forcefully kissed her severally.

The other victims curious about the whereabouts of the accused and the victim also entered the bush and met them. The accused allegedly pounced on the two -15 and 12 year olds and had sexual intercourse with them in turns behind a palm tree.

After the act, he brought the victims out and threatened them not to disclose to anyone but in the process a resident appeared, sensing danger the accused took to his heels.

Parents of the victims were informed and the children narrated their ordeals. Attempts by the Unit committee chairman in the community to interrogate the accused and the victims ended inconclusively after a misunderstanding ensued between the accused and victims parents.

The Matter was reported to the Police and the accused was arrested while attempting to leave the community to go into hiding.

The victims have been issued Police Medical forms for checkups.
