The Chief Executive Officer of the Youth Employment Authority (YEA) has stated that contrary to reports on Social Media, musician Wendy Shay, is still their Ambassador.

The VGMA new Artiste of the Year on July 5 apologised to former President Kufuor and Ghanaians over a controversial picture with the former President shared on her social media handles.

The picture shows the former President seemingly staring at the artiste, who was dressed in an outfit some have described as provocative, when ambassadors of the YEA paid him a visit last month.

Rumours swirled after the picture went viral that the ‘Uber Driver’ hitmaker had been removed as an Ambassador for the YEA.

But in an interview on the Morning Starr, Mr. Justin Kodua Frimpong told host Francis Abban that Wendy Shay has not been removed and is still an ambassador the agency.

“Wendy Shay is still an Ambassador for the YEA,” Mr. Kodua Frimpong said.
