The Electoral Commission (EC) would on Thursday, August 8 resume replacing lost Voter’s ID Cards, the Chairperson of the Commission has announced.

The exercise would be carried out at all district offices of the Commission, Jean Mensa said

The Commission suspended the exercise earlier this year to enable it concentrated on the Limited Voters Registration Exercise, which had ended.

Replacing a lost voter ID card, an applicant would be required to pay a replacement fee of GHC 5.00, as said the Commission.

The fees are to be paid into the Commission’s Bank Account and a payslip submitted to the District office.
