A five-member panel of the Supreme Court presided over by Justice Baffoe Bonnie has directed the Special Prosecutor Martin Alamisi Amidu and the Attorney General to collaborate effectively to retrieve monies paid to Waterville.

The Special Prosecutor, Martin Alamisi Amidu, in his capacity as a private citizen has dragged the Attorney General and construction firm, Waterville, to the Supreme Court over the non-enforcement of a judgement debt retrieval order directed at the Government of Ghana and the company in 2013.

It was the case of the court that the orders made earlier are coercive enough and same orders cannot be repeated.

The court has however directed both parties to collaborate effectively on how to retrieve the money.

The case has been adjourned to November 6 for the parties to report back to the court if they were able to make headway.
