Ghana U23 head coach Ibrahim Tanko has announced his final 21-man squad for the 2019 Africa U23 Cup of Nations.

The 21-man list consist of twelve foreign-based players with nine locally based U23 players.
Black Stars striker Kwabena Owusu was named in the squad alongside US based striker Ropapa Mensah with Samuel Obeng and Frank Arhin as the four attackers.
Asante Kotoko trio Kwame Baah, Ibrahim Danlad and Habib Mohammed made the final list with two players from Hearts of Oak namely Richmond Ayi and William Dankyi.
Ghana open their campaign against Cameroon on the November 8
The Black Meteors will face their Group A opponents Egypt and Mali on 11 and 14 November respectively.
This year’s edition of the Africa U23 Cup of Nations will be staged in Egypt from November 8th to 22nd.
The best three teams at the 2019 Africa U23 Cup of Nations will qualify for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
