Menzgold says claims that it has suspended payment to its aggrieved customers following the invasion of the home of its CEO is false and must be disregarded.

Reports are rife that the troubled gold company suspended the scheduled payment to its customers after they stormed the Trassaco home of its CEO Nana Appiah Mensah.

However, in a statement PRO of the company Nii Amarh Amarteifio said payment is still ongoing even though their contract with customers does not allow them to disclose names of beneficiaries so far.

“My attention has been drawn to a misleading story on various social media platforms with the caption “MenzGold Suspends Payment; NAM 1 is traumatized after customers stormed his house”

“I would like to state categorically that the said story carried by the above-stated caption that flooded various social media platforms purported to had emanated from my office is bluntly untrue, without merit and must be disregarded in the strictest sense.

“I wish to emphatically underscore the fact that Menzgold HAS NOT suspended its quest to pay its cherished clients as stipulated in its Press Release dated the 18th December 2019. Payment is still poised to follow the schedule outlined in the Payment Plan rolled out on 18th December 2019,” Menzgold said in a statement.

It added: “By way of emphasis,I would like to assure the general public, the media and most importantly our cherished customers to disregard the publication.

“Menzgold still remains committed to the payment schedule and I wish to make a clarion call on all customers to remain calm as we work diligently to bring lasting solution to all impending issues relating to the subject matter”.
