Some basketball players in Ghana will be playing a charity game to support one of their own who is battling leukaemia.

Gerald Larweh Sappor who is a member of the Coldstore basketball team in Accra was diagnosed with Leukaemia some four months ago.

He is said to be in need of thousands of Ghana cedis for medication.

Leukaemia, also known as cancer of the blood is one of the incurable diseases but with proper medication, one can live long.

Gerald’s basketball teammates across the country will be converging at the University of Ghana basketball court this Sunday, 9th February 2020 at 3 pm to mobilize funds to support his treatment.

The charity game is expected to attract basketball lovers and another philanthropist to support Gerald’s condition.

The day will see some of Ghana’s best Basketball players display great skills to entertain the crowd.

Some of the teams that are gearing up for the event include; Tema Allstars, Accra Allstars, Coldstare and the University of Ghana Basketball team.

Everyone is invited to be part of this charity event.
