As part of efforts to contain the Corona Pandemic, the MCE for Ayawaso West, Sandra Owusu-Ahinkorah is leading a team to fumigate markets in her municipality.
The markets benefiting from the exercise are the Santama and University of Ghana night markets.
Amongst the team are the municipal coordinating and health directors and Staff of Zoomlion.
Also, present were some NPP regional and constituency executives.
Chlorine disinfectant was used in the fumigation exercise to contain the spread of virus.
Speaking on the sidelines of the exercise, the MCE said “I am taking personal interest in this exercise because it is about lives. We cannot take a back stage and give instructions.”
