The Western region’s fight against COVID-19 has been giving a boost after Ghana’s leading Construction Company, Justmoh Construction Limited, which is a wholly Ghanaian-owned construction company, presented a cheque of fifty thousand Cedis (GHc 50,000.00) to four (4) major health facilities in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis and the Effia Kwesimintsim Municipality.

The kind gesture which was led by the Company’s Director for Finance, Stephen Owusu Hammond saw the company donating twenty thousand Ghana cedis to the Effia Nkwanta hospital and Ten thousand cedis each to Takoradi, Kwesimintsim, and Essikado government hospitals.

It will be recalled that on April 1st 2020, the company, through its Chief Executive Officer, Justice Amoh, presented a cheque of five hundred thousand Cedis (GHc 500,000.00) as their contribution to the COVID-19 Trust Fund.

Speaking to Empire News after the donation, Owusu Hammond revealed that there was the need to support the health facilities in the region because most of them are handicapped.

“As a leading construction firm, we take the health our people seriously, we have realised that most of the facilities in the Western Region are overstretched hence the need also assist them, that is why we have tarred their road. This little token will motivate them to give out the best,” he stressed.

He said the amount was to help the four health facilities purchase the needed logistics in their efforts to combat the COVID 19.

Medical Directors, Superintendents and Administrators who received the donation on behalf of their hospitals were full of praise for the company as they appealed for more support from individuals and well-meaning Corporate Institutions.
