The Member of Parliament for the Adaklu Constituency, Kwame Governs Agbodza has handed over two new CHPS compounds and a 2-unit nurses’ quarters to the Adaklu district health directorate.

The two facilities located at Adaklu Have and Amuzudeve would provide basic health care delivery to residents in the two communities and other adjoining villages including Adaklu Dzakpo, Adaklu Blidokope, Adaklu Gavorkope, Segbale and Adaklu Vodze.

Speaking on behalf of the MP in a short ceremony on Wednesday, Samuel Anthony Dorfe, the Adaklu Constituency NDC Chairman noted that the construction of the two facilities forms part of the MP’s long-held vision and quest to improve health care delivery in the area.

“These two facilities are part of the MP’s quest to improve health care delivery in the area. The vision is to make basic health care accessible to the people of Adaklu,” he said.

He entreated the directorate to observe and maintain the culture of maintenance in order to keep the facilities in good shape for long.

The Adaklu district health director, Charles Azagba expressed gratitude on behalf of the directorate and the two communities; adding that, “the MP’s efforts towards health care delivery in the district is tremendous and must be commended.”

The MP, Kwame Governs Agbodza is said to have started another CHPS compound project at Adaklu Wumenu, which is expected to provide basic health care to residents of Wumenu, Kpogadzi, Agbokope and Adaklu Wayanu when completed.
