MCE for Ayawaso West Sandra Owusu-Ahinkorah has presented food items to the Muslim community in the area ahead of the Eid-ul-Fitr celebration this weekend.
The items including rice, oil, sardines among others were distributed via the assemblies to all the mosques in the community including Abelenkpe, Tesano, others
The MCE noted “because of covid, the fasting has come at a time where so many people needed help. their prayers have really supported us. Well over 30 bags of rice, cartons of cooking oil and sardines were distributed”.
