Ghanaian actress Juliet Ibrahim has been adjudged the most poplar African celebrity at the 4th edition of the Nigerian Entertainment Today Honours, Peaple’s Choice Awards.
The scheme is aimed at recognizing individuals and events that have shaped pop culture in the year under review.
Data for NET Honours is sourced from a wide database of over eight million users who have engaged with Netng, Neusroom, Orin, and 234Star platforms via the websites, social media accounts, and email newsletters within a 12-month calendar period.
Last year, Juliet won the NET Honours ‘Most Popular African Celebrity’ award even though she missed the awards presentation ceremony at the Nigerian Entertainment Conference (NECLive).
This year, Juliet Ibrahim proves that she is definitely a fans favourite by winning over other major African stars like Sarkodie, Angelique Kidjo, Juliet Ibrahim, Nasty C, and Diamond Platnumz.
The actress took to her Instagram page to express her excitement, with the caption “or the second year running, @julietibrahim is NET Honours ‘Most Popular African Celebrity’ Congratulations! #teamjulietibrahim This one is for you guys!
Thanks @thenetng for the nomination and the efforts to keep a successful, non- biased award show! 💪💪💪 #NetHonours”
