The NGO specifically hailed the Zipline Drone Medical Supply services providing real-time transportation of COVID-19 samples to testing centres with the use of its drone technology.

Ghana’s COVID 19 case count has clocked the ten thousand mark as the health service continues to pursue aggressive contact tracing, testing and treatment.

Speaking on the CAMFED hour on the Ultimate Brunch a CAMFED Beneficiary and Rep Emilia Musa noted that, “Even though we have teething challenges in our health system, COVID 19 has assisted the country to clearly identify the problems we need to solve.”

“A clear intervention that has been most helpful is the helplines and the Zipline Drones which has helped in transporting test kits and samples to the testing centres,” she commended.

A member of the Beneficiary Education Team Olivia Akanisey outlined that CAMFED is reaching out to young girls in less endowed communities as well as clusters of traders to reinforce COVID 19 Infection Prevention and Control measures.
