Two more people have died from COVID-19 in Ghana taking the death toll to 44, according to the latest figures by the Ghana Health Service.
Ghana’s case count now stands at 9,462 after 294 new cases were recorded in the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, over 90 people who were infected with the virus have now recovered taking the country’s total recoveries to 3,547.
Active cases stand at 5,669.
The Ahafo region still remains the only region out of the 16 regions in Ghana yet to record a case of COVID-19 so far.
