One more person has died of Coronavirus in the Eastern Region bringing the total number of confirmed deaths to three.
The latest fatality occurred on June 12, 2020. The deceased was among patients on admission at the Covid-19 treatment centre in the region.
On May 29,2020, a senior Police officer died of the virus. A health worker also died few days ago.
Meanwhile, the number of confirmed cases in the region has risen from 208 to 214 with 109 recoveries.
Currently, eighteen (18) of thirty-three(33) districts/Municipalities in the region have recorded cases.

Ghana’s total caseload as of Saturday is 2020 is 11,118. The death toll still remains at 48 while recoveries stand at 3,979.
