The Government will today July 15 start the process for the issuance of a six-year treasury bond with the opening of the book bill.

This follows the release of initial pricing guidance for the bond issuance through the Ghana Stock Exchange.

According to an announcement made by the Bank of Ghana, the bonds will mature in 2026.

Per the government’s debt issuance calendar for June to August 2020, an amount of GHC800 million in six-year bond is expected to be issued this month.

Each bond to be issued shall have face value of GHC1 with minimum subscription of GHC50,000 and multiples of thousand Ghana Cedis thereafter.
