Ghanaian club Asante Kotoko has confirmed the appointment and officially unveiled astute football administrator Nana Yaw Amponsah as its Chief Executive Officer for the next three years.

The former GFA Presidential aspirant beat off competition from former Bayern Munich player Sammy Kuffour and GFA EXCo member, Frederick Acheampong to land the Kotoko CEO job.

Nana Yaw Amponsah brings a wealth of experience in sports management following his rapid rise in football administration in Ghana. Mr Amponsah holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Political science from the University of Ghana, Legon and a Master’s Degree in Sports Law and Practice from the Leicester DE Monort University, UK.
Nana Yaw Amponsah until recently was the Owner and President of Phar Rangers football club.

Nana Yaw Amponsah is expected to transform the one time Giants of African Football, Asante Kotoko with the support of the newly constituted 12 member Board of Directors of the club led by Dr Kwame Kyei.
