President Akufo-Addo has directed Deputy National Security Opare Duncan to act as National Security Coordinator following the sudden passing of Joshua Kyeremeh.
My Kyeremeh reportedly died while undergoing treatment for COVID-19 at the Ga East Municipal hospital in Accra, where the security capo was seeking treatment on Monday, January 18, 2020.
According to the communications director at the presidency Eugene Arhin, Mr Duncan will act pending the appointment of a substantive Coordinator.
He added that arrangements for the late Kyeremeh’s funeral will be announced in due course.
