Barely a moth after announcing their departure from the Accra Sports Stadium, Kumasi Asante Kotoko are set to return to the nation’s capital as they play Accra Great Olympics on Friday.

The Porcupine Warriors moved to the top of the Ghana Premier League table last weekend following their win over Berekum Chelsea whiles Olympics on the other hand suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Legon Cities with that loss making them drop from the top spot.

Mariano Barreto will hope to stay unbeaten in what would be his fourth game in charge of Kotoko.

The head coach has won two of his three games as the club’s coach drawing the other, with his side also conceding only one goal during his time.

However, Kotoko will have to make do without key player Fabio Gama who is suspended for the game due to yellow card accumulation after being booked in their last game.

For Olympics, it will be the story of getting back to winning ways as they continue their quest to win their first league title in as many years.

A Michael Yeboah second-half strike was all coach Yaw Annor Walker’s side needed in the reverse fixture back in December as they walked away with all three points.

A win for Kotoko will see them extend their lead at the summit of the competition while Olympics need the maximum points to topple the Kumasi-based team.
