President of the Ghana Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation, Abdul Hayye-Yartey has been appointed as the Chairman of the Communication committee of the Ghana Olympic Committee. The astute Sports administrator has created a niche for himself as a brand expert after successfully building a solid brand for the Ghana Bodybuilding and Fitness Association and his Division two Club, Cheetah Football Club. He has been tasked to steer the affairs of the 14-member Committee with Ace Sports Journalists Yaw Ampofo Ankrah, who will serve as the Director of communications and Benjamin Willie Graham, Deputy Director of Communication.

Other members of the Communication Committee include Daniel Oduro of Ghanaweb, Starr FM’s Betty Yawson, David Ofori Osafu (UTV), Communication Director of the Ghana Cycling Federation, Dennis Moore, Veteran Sports Journalists Prince Annan (Max TV), John Vigah (Ghanaian Times), Maxwel Asabre, Sammy Heywood Okine, Kobby Jones, Charles Amofa of the National Sports Authority, and Williams Kwabena Ofori Delali.

The team led by Abdul Hayye has been mandated to build a positive image for the Ghana Olympic Committee.
