Ghana’s male National team the Black Stars are scheduled to play against Morocco and Ivory Coast in international friendly games next month to prepare for the FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

The team will travel to Morocco to play the Atlas Lions of Morocco in a friendly game and later host Ivory Coast at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium. Black Stars Coach Charles Kwablan Akonnor will meet the Ghanaian media later today at the GFA secretariat to announce Ghana’s squad for these two friendly matches that have been lined up for the team.
The friendly matches are meant to replace the FIFA World Cup qualifiers that were postponed last week by CAF.

Ghana was scheduled to engage Ethiopia and South Africa in two FIFA World Cup qualifiers in Cape Coast and Johannesburg respectively but that has been postponed to September.
