Leading non-alcoholic malt beverage brand, Malta Guinness, has showed solidarity to some local small businesses as part of its on-going Enjoy a World of Good campaign. The brand did this by leveraging its well-known social media influencers to showcase some 20 small startup businesses on their social media handles- at no cost to the small businesses. The businesses were selected by the brand influencers from the beauty, personal care, art, fashion, food and beverages, retail and technology sectors.

The campaign activity dubbed Spread Good, saw Malta Guinness influencers Delores “Delay” Frimpong-Manso, Giovani Caleb, Regina Van-Helvert, musicians Worlasi, Mr. Drew and others select two businesses each, and campaign for the businesses on their respective social media platforms for one week.

Businesses that have benefitted from the campaign include Morakiss Beauty Salon and Spa, Fruits and More Gift Hampers, Maame’s Pancakes, Hans Kitchen, GoldenDev Officials, Serwaa Bakes, Rajni Millinery, Thisnobeart Consultancy and Shade Solution.

Owner of Morakiss Beauty Salon and Spa, Fatimah Abdul Wahab is excited to have benefitted from the campaign. “It was exciting! We were able to increase our following and reach and for that we are grateful”.

Malta Guinness embarked on the Spread Good campaign to make tangible Malta Guinness’ brand essence, which is to fuel the can-do attitude of its consumers. The brand sought to #REKOGNIZE and acknowledge the hustle of these businesses and encourage them to do more.

It is estimated that the Spread Good campaign has reached over a million fans on social media, giving these small, mostly online businesses up to 30% more visibility. Malta Guinness is excited to have grown brand engagement among consumers through these influencers.
