At least one person has been confirmed dead with fours others injured after a tipper truck rammed into the Tema end of the tollbooth on the Motorway.
The Tipper truck also hit a saloon car before running into the tollbooth
Eyewitnesses told GHOne TV that the driver of the tipper truck which was speeding appeared to be dozing.
Emergency services have visited the scene and cleared the road for vehicular traffic.
The victims have been rushed to the 37 Military Hospital and the Tema General Hospital.
