Ghana’s Hasaacas Ladies have secured qualification to the maiden edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League after reaching the final of the WAFU Zone B Championship on Monday.

The Dooo Ladies posted a 2-0 win over Burkina Faso’s USFA in the semi-final clash in Abidjan.

Veronica Appiah steered Yussif Basigi’s ladies ahead in the first-half before attacker Doris Boaduwaa sealed the win with a sensational finish in the 59th minute.

Hasaacas Ladies by virtue of the qualification becomes the first Ghanaian side and one of the first two clubs from WAFU Zone B to qualify for the finals which is expected to be staged in North Africa later in the year.
